The location is not in the city center, but it is very quiet. If you are at the train station, you need to call a taxi to get here. You can rest well, and breakfast is plentiful. Our room was spacious and clean, and the morning location is good since bus options to Termini are limited. It is a few minutes’ walk to the metro station, though it feels a bit scary at night. I wish breakfast could be improved, but for the price, it is decent. The reception staff are helpful and friendly, assisting with luggage and calling taxis to the airport. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Kiss Inn

The hosts are a couple who, despite limited English, are incredibly welcoming! Highly recommended. The location is close to the station, with Asian markets and traditional markets nearby, making it very convenient. I had trouble finding the place, but the owner came to find me and guided me there.

The location is perfect, close to Termini Station, near amenities, with excellent transport links. The staff are friendly and made me feel at home during my stay. The room is reasonably sized and clean, with hotel water always available in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi connection is strong and reliable, keeping me connected throughout my stay. The provided amenities are sufficient. As a historic building, soundproofing is not perfect, but this adds to the charm of staying in the Eternal City. Highly recommended.

Just a three-minute walk from Rome Termini Station. It is rare to find a hotel with modern, newly renovated decor at such an affordable price. Very comfortable and even more reasonably priced than many guesthouses. I will definitely stay here every time I visit Rome!

“The location is close to Rome station, and there are also some great restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the hotel breakfast is delicious. If you want to buy fresh fruit (probably the cheapest and freshest on this Italy trip), just around the corner from the hotel you can find morning fruit and vegetable vendors, usually there until about 1-2 PM. Really fresh and cheap.”

The RomeHello

Rooms use keypad entry, and luggage storage is only accessible to staff. Guests deposit and collect luggage using paper vouchers, which feels very secure (I think there was even a safe in the closet!). It is eco-conscious, but provides wall-mounted eco-friendly hand soap and body wash/shampoo, which is great for a hostel. Bedside power outlets are a thoughtful touch. There are plenty of communal spaces, both indoor and outdoor. The shared kitchen has a coin-operated water dispenser, refrigerator, microwave, induction cooktop, dishes, pots, dish soap, and kettle — everything you need if you want to cook for yourself!

Tree Charme Spagna Boutique Hotel

The accommodation quality is excellent, and the staff are very nice. The shower has great water pressure with stable temperature, and most importantly, no water accumulation at all! The location is super convenient. I was initially intrigued by the hotel entrance, as it is a regular residential building with a very small vintage elevator. However, when I entered the first floor, I discovered this boutique hotel had been freshly renovated and featured a charming courtyard.

Hotel Valadier is situated in an area filled with boutiques. Street restaurants, and even a street dedicated to perfume shops. The hotel is full of treasures, and the rooms feel like being inside a Faberge egg. Every detail of comfort and luxury is attended to. There is a restaurant and bar, but my favorite is the rooftop terrace with views of Piazza del Popolo, the Borghese Gardens, and stunning architecture across Rome. But the best part is the warm hospitality of the staff. Every problem can be solved with kindness.

FH55 Grand Hotel Palatino

Four days in Rome, and the stay was wonderful. Breakfast is excellent, and the dining area has large windows with Rome street views. No kettle, slippers, or toothbrushes — but this seems to be the case with most Italian hotels. Our room had a high-floor street-facing window overlooking a quiet side street, with beautiful views of Rome’s alleys and rooftops. Watching the sun rise and light up the entire city is, even in retrospect, one of the most memorable parts of the trip.
